Delete Your Foody Account

Use this page to request deletion of your Foody account and associated data without reinstalling the app. After you submit the form, we will send deletion instructions to your email to verify ownership.

What gets deleted

What may be retained

Minimal data may be retained where required by law, security, or fraud prevention, as described in our Privacy Policy. Access to retained data is strictly limited.

How deletion works

  • Verification: We send deletion instructions to your account email; follow the link in that email to confirm the request.
  • Processing: We delete your account and associated data.
  • Timeline: Typically completed within 30 days of verification.

You can also delete your account in-app: Account → Settings → Delete Account.

FAQs

Can I cancel my request?

You can cancel before we complete deletion by replying to the confirmation email.

Will my loyalty progress be restored later?

No. Deletion is permanent and loyalty progress cannot be restored.

How do I export my data first?

Request a copy via privacy@foody.fi. We’ll assist before deletion proceeds.

What about data with partners?

Where applicable, we notify integrated partners to remove linked data consistent with our Privacy Policy.
